Hello,

My name is Robert Vann.

I'm a native of Columbus, GA, and am currently a resident of Norfolk, VA, as an Author, Mentor, Educator, Student, Motivational speaker, 11-year Navy veteran, and Pastor, I thrive off pursuing purpose and believes everyone can do the same. In 2019, I published my first book, titled "You Are a Strong Man: Addressing the Pitfalls That Men Face and Providing Tools to Overcome Them," then published my second book in 2022 titled, "Chosen Generation: 6 C.H.O.S.E.N. Principles & Short Stories Equipping Students to Grow in Self-awareness and become Transformational Leaders". As a student, I've obtained Certificates in Non-Profit Management from Tidewater Community College, and also earned a Bachelor's in Christian Leadership & Management and a Masters of Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Leadership & Mentorship from Regent University. I believe that with God, all things are possible and that it is my purpose to help others enhance in self-awareness, discover their purpose, and grow confidence in their leadership voice.

Mr. Robert Vann came to speak with our students at our semi-annual graduation/recognition ceremony. His engaging, energetic, and encouraging presentation will help our students remove the limits they have placed on their futures. Mr. Vann used applicable stories that resonated with our low-income, first-generation students. The students were captivated by his percussionist skills, and I appreciated that he was able to relate to and hold the attention of everyone in the room. I look forward to having him speak again.
